Head of E.ON Force visits the EUREF Talent Campus in Berlin

05.03.2025

The energy transition needs experts.

That‘s why we have the EUREF-Talent-Campus in Berlin and Düsseldorf, where #EUREFTALENTS are trained in master’s programs at our partner universities and colleges. The master’s programs focus on energy, mobility and sustainability.

Providing students with practical training at the EUREF-Campus can only be achieved with the support of strong business partners. One of them is E.ON.

Steffen Kartenbender, Head of E.ON Force and E.ON impulse GmbH paid a visit to the EUREF-Campus Berlin today in bright sunshine! During a tour of the campus, Matthias Prenning, Head of Energy Services Berlin at GASAG first took us to the energy workshop, the energy centerpiece of the campus. Stefan Grund, Senior Key Account Manager at Schneider Electric, then explained how the smart grid works on the campus and illustrated the potential of micro smart grids for districts and cities in the zeemobase.

Dr. Massimo Moraglio, Academic Program Manager at Technische Universität Berlin, presented the master’s programs offered at TU Campus EUREF. Irfan Iqbal, student of the MBA Sustainable Mobility at TU Berlin, reported on the advantages of the practical studies at the EUREF-Campus.

Because our Gasometer is unique and perfectly embodies the combination of traditional industrial architecture and innovative, sustainable urban development projects, we were particularly pleased to be able to show Steffen Kartenbender this location too – including the roof terrace, of course, and with a magnificent view of the capital from a height of 66 meters.
