EUREF-Talent-Campus Düsseldorf at the E-World in Essen

14.02.2025

E-world energy & water is the meeting place for the European energy industry. As an information platform for the energy sector, E-world brings together international decision-makers in Essen every year. EUREF-Spokeswoman Karin Teichmann and Jörg Philippi-Gerle, Site Manager of the EUREF-Campus in Düsseldorf, took the opportunity to present the two EUREF campuses (Berlin and Düsseldorf) and the EUREF-Talent-Campus. Two of the seven business partners supporting the Talent Campus were also present: Schneider Electric and E.ON Force.

At the largest energy trade fair, the third day is firmly scheduled as “Career Day” and brings together junior staff and young potentials with companies from the energy sector. The perfect opportunity to present the EUREF-Talent-Campus with its Düsseldorf degree programs and to scout new talent. Interested parties can already apply for two English-language Master’s programs starting in the coming winter semester: MSc Management of Smart and Sustainable Energy Systems and MSc Sustainable Energy and Hydrogen Infrastructure. At least two more courses will follow by 2028. The practice-oriented, interdisciplinary Master’s programs on topics related to the energy transition are particularly popular and counteract the shortage of specialists in this field. Four universities and colleges are involved in setting up and running the courses on the EUREF-Campus Düsseldorf: the University Alliance Ruhr with the Technical University of Dortmund, the Ruhr University Bochum and the University of Duisburg-Essen as well as the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
