KONE is the new business partner of the EUREF-Talent-Campus
Since 2012, the Technische Universität Berlin has been offering Master’s degree programs in the fields of environment, climate, energy and mobility at the EUREF-Campus Berlin. The successful concept for research and teaching at the EUREF-Campus Düsseldorf is being continued at the EUREF-Campus. In cooperation with the Technical University of Dortmund, the Ruhr University Bochum, the University of Duisburg Essen and the University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf, four Master’s degree programs are currently being developed.
The first two courses will start in the winter semester of this year. The courses will train young talents and professionals to become specialists and managers and qualify them for the challenges of our urban future and sustainable development. The close proximity of research, teaching and business on the EUREF-Campus is a win-win situation for everyone involved. In view of the increasing shortage of skilled workers, access to talent for the economy is becoming increasingly important – and thus also for mastering the energy and mobility transition.
We are delighted to have gained another business partner for the EUREF-Talent-Campus in the form of our long-standing business partner KONE.
KONE is a global leader in the fields of elevators, escalators and automatic doors. KONE’s complete solutions are intelligently networked with the building and offer added value for the comfortable, safe and functional building of the future. By the way: KONE was awarded the German Sustainability Award 2024 as the most sustainable company in the “Lifting and Conveyor Technology” category.
At MIPIM, the world’s leading real estate trade fair in Cannes, Karin Teichmann, Spokeswoman of EUREF AG and Managing Director of TU-Campus EUREF gGmbH, Philippe Delorme, President and CEO of KONE, and Alexander Vitt, Managing Director of KONE DACH, met to discuss how they can shape the EUREF-Talent-Campus together.
